Kilimanjaro Summit |Kusudi La

Kusudi La means “for purpose” in Swahili, inspired by the local language and culture home to our annual Kilimanjaro adventure.

Our co-founders have been climbing Kilimanjaro to raise funds for animals since 2012.

We offer adventures of a lifetime with experienced guides and the funds we raise support selected projects and beneficiaries.  Join our team of purposeful adventurers and let your footprint make a difference to pawprints.

CNN climbed with what was then the SPCA Kilimanjaro Challenge in 2017 to do a programme on Inside Africa, which is still running as a weekly programme.  We had an interesting group that year – Sean Disney, Adriana Marais (astrophysicist and Mars One project which had as its goal to establish a settlement on Mars), Raymond Rampolokeng (Birdman) and Meg Wilson (now Meg Harvey) who was our spokesperson for animals on the mountain.
